Michelle Pratt, Class Six
I have worked at All Saints now for approximately 9 years and I am always astonished at the variety of activities that the children are offered.
I have to admit that one of my favourite activities is the Activity Holiday that the Year 6 children go on to Robinwood, where children are encouraged to have a go at all the activities even if they have to go out of their comfort zone. All the children are very supportive to each other and delight in each others achievements.
The cirriculum areas that I favour are ICT and Numeracy, I suppose they do go hand in hand.
There is never a day goes by when one of the children delights in their achievements, bringing a smile to both staff and students faces.

Sharon Daniel, Class Five
I started work at All Saints' as a volunteer when my children where much younger. My son is now at Marple Hall and my daugher is in upper key stage 2.
All Saints' not only helped with the smooth transition to high school for Jack, but were also there it help with my worries about the move.
I must have the best job in the world. I work with caring and friendly children who have such positive attitudes to their work. All the staff know and care about each child - it's like a home from home.
How lucky am I working with such friendly, caring and talented people!

Vicki Jenner, Class Four
As our own children were leaving behind the wonders of Lego and the kitchen table was no longer covered in glitter and/or glue, I realized I would have to look further afield for creative entertainment (or else face a lifetime of Dusting). Redemption came in the form of my job as Teaching Assistant at All Saints'. Initially this was in the Reception Class, followed by a galactic leap to Year 5; I am currently perched between the two in Class 4.
Beyond the classroom walls I enjoy walking, usually making full use of my RSPB and National Trust memberships. I am currently Secretary of Stockport Fairtrade Group and am an active member of St Thomas' Church, Mellor. I appreciate occasional visits to art galleries, concerts and the theatre. Home entertainment involves music and books, plus a weekend challenge of crosswords, shared with my husband, Peter.
Our children are now upstanding (usually), vote-bearing adults. They continue to teach me a lot, particularly about the unfathomable mysteries of all things technological. And sporting. Alex is in his final year at our local College and aims to be a policeman. Stephanie is a primary school teacher.
The best way to wind me up? Say "she's just a Vicar's Wife"!!

Debbie Shaw Class Four
I have been involved with All Saints' School for 10 years as a mum, Midday Assistant and in my present role as a Teaching Assistant.
In this role I am excited by the dynamics of working in a team where everyone is important. All ideas are shared and are crucial to the development and progress children make.
I love working in small groups and on a one to one basis with children. The range is enormous from Special Educational Needs to Gifted and Talented. I sometimes also support children who need help working out things socially. The reward of seeing these children achieve their goal is fantastic.
Outside school my time is mainly taken chauffering and taking my 2 girls to their various clubs and activities. I enjoy cooking, reading and spending time with my extended family.

JACKIE HARRISON, CLASS TWO
I started working at All Saints in June 2008 when maternity cover was needed and I love it! I was immediately struck by the warmth of the children and the efforts of the staff.
I hope that during my time here, I can help the children to enjoy their time at school, make them feel secure and enable them to become confident and focussed individuals with high self-esteem that will encourage them to reach their full potential both academially and socially.
My interests include Taekwondo, supporting Sheffield Wednesday football club, listening to music and watching bands at Manchester venues with family and friends, travel and gardening.

I thoroughly enjoy working at All Saints' as it is a school where everybody knows each other, teachers and children.
Everyday is different and there is always something positive to take home.
In my leisure time I enjoy gardening, DIY and aerobics.

Sam Burney, Class One
I started working at All Saints' School back in 2005 as one of the middays. I was then asked to join the School Club Team. My job titles have changed a bit since then, becoming Midday Supervisor, School Club Manager and also being let loose in the class as a Teaching Assistant.
With the help of the children and staff at the school I have achieved my NVQ 3 Teaching Assistant's qualification and First Aid Certificate.
Many people think I live at school as I am always around if not in my job roles then helping out somewhere. I really do enjoy the atmosphere at All Saints', it's one big family, both staff and children look out for each other and when help is needed then there is always someone willing to lend a helping hand.
You may think I have nothing to do but relax when I go home, this is not the case. However, I do try to fit in my hobbies which are baking, gardening, cross stitch and floristry although these are normally at weekends.

Clare Parry Class Three
I started working at All Saints in November 1992. I have seen considerable changes in the school, both in the building itself and the teaching. When I first started, we worked on chalkboards on the wall, now we have interactive whiteboards!
I enjoy working at All Saints. It is a very caring school. As soon as you enter the building you can feel the warmth of the atmosphere here, created by both the children and staff. Everyday is different and you get a great amount of achievement out of working with the children.

Julie Brennan School Admin Manager
I came to All Saints' in September 2001 as the School Secretary and the following June moved my three children here from another local school. It was the best move both professionally for myself and personally for my family.
My role has grown beyond recognition since then and I am now the School Admin Manager, organising and monitoring the school budget; supporting staff in organising events such as productions and school trips and the being the first contact for most people coming into school amongst a whole plethora of other tasks.
My children are now mature, well-rounded young adults and this would not have happened without the support of everyone at All Saints'. The school is a very special place for children to learn and this is largely due to the supportive staff employed at the school, and I am proud to be a member of this school team.
Outside of school I teach ballroom, latin and salsa dancing and can be found on Sunday's on the sidelines of a rugby match, where one of other of my son's is usually playing football for Marple RUFC.
