At All Saints’ C of E Primary School, we have a statutory duty to ensure that your personal information is kept confidentially and that appropriate safeguards are in place. Our school is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy and rights of our children, staff and families.  At All Saints’ we have always taken data protection seriously and have always had strong culture of storing sensitive data safely and securely and been sensible about access to information on all in our school community.
 

In line with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) laws now in place, we would like you to know that we are working to the highest standards to strengthen our existing policies and day to day data duties to ensure that all records and data are stored as safely as possible.    We are continually reviewing and refining our practices for your reassurance..  Bearing in mind the huge amounts of information and data that we store on your child and family, as much as we possibly can be, we are  taking strong steps to be compliant with  privacy regulations for children and families. 

As a parent/carer you will receive some letters from us regarding GDPR. Some of those may be about consent and some about updating your information with us. Please do read and send back everything you receive as promptly as possible. Please help to keep your child’s records up to date by informing us of any change of circumstances or contact details.

For any other requests regarding your rights, or if you have any questions about the policies below or would like further information on how your information is used and stored, then please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Vickers (School Business Manager) responsible for school Data Protection. Our Chair of Governors Mr. Alan Bailey is also responsible for the overseeing and monitoring of all data protection information. In addition, we have appointed an external Data Protection Officer who leads in this area for Stockport Local Authority:
